Wesley Chau is an industrial designer and educator based in Toronto, ON. In 2013, he graduated from Rhode Island School of Design and has worked in the fields of industrial, furniture, fashion, and spatial design. He holds observation, research, and iteration at the core of his design process. Wesley has previously worked for Umbra, Streng, Alexander Wang, and Johnson Trading Gallery. Planto is part of the Design for Change: Eating Sustainably initiative for Toronto design firm, Cooler Solutions. The system demonstrates the three main phases of plant growth in a smart, space-saving manner for the urban dweller’s home.
